A workshop entitled "The Effective Student: Skills for Participation in Improving the Quality of Education"

The Faculty of Applied Arts at Tanta University witnessed the convening of the second workshop within the series of quality workshops organized within the framework of supporting the "New Beginning to Ensure Quality Education" initiative, on Sunday, May 3, 2026, under the patronage of Professor Dr. Mohamed Hussein Mahmoud, President of the University, and in the presence of Professor Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim, Acting Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Ola El-Toukhy, Lecturer in the Department of Ready-Made Garments and Fashion Industry and Acting Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, and Dr. Mohamed El-Sheikh, Lecturer in the Department of Spinning, Weaving and Knitting.

The workshop, titled "The Active Student: Skills for Participation in Improving the Quality of Education," addressed several important themes focused on enhancing the student's role in the educational process and developing their skills in positive interaction and participation in evaluating and improving the quality of university education.

 The workshop witnessed outstanding participation from students Judy Ramadan Sheilan, Ahmed Mustafa Bayoumi, and Mohamed Salama Sorour, who presented practical models and ideas reflecting a sophisticated understanding of the importance of quality and its role in achieving academic excellence.

 Participants emphasized the need to continue organizing such events, which contribute to spreading a culture of quality within the university community and empowering students to play their vital role in supporting development plans, in line with the state's vision for improving the quality of higher education in Egypt.
