Faculty of Computers and Information Holds Quality Assurance Unit Meeting

The Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty of Computers and Information held its third meeting with faculty members, chaired by Professor Dr. Nancy Abbas El-Hefnawy, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and Dr. Omnia El-Barbary, Acting Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development and Director of the Faculty's Quality Assurance Unit. The meeting was attended by council members Dr. Osama Ghoneim, Acting Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Research, Dr. Ayda Nasr, First Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Dr. Shimaa Hagras, Second Deputy Director of the Quality Assurance Unit, Mr. Mohamed Ammar, Secretary-General of the Faculty, and Ziad El-Henawy, President of the Student Union, who was invited to participate in the meeting.

The meeting was held on Sunday, February 9, 2025, to discuss the proposal of assigning a quality coordinator for each scientific department in the faculty, and to approve course specifications for the first, second, third, and fourth levels of the Computer Science and Information Technology departments, and the third level of the Information Systems department for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025. The meeting also approved course reports for the first, second, third, and fourth levels of the Computer Science and Information Technology departments, and the third level of the Information Systems department for the first semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

Additionally, the meeting approved course specifications for the distinguished Data Analysis and Artificial Intelligence program for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025.

The meeting also discussed course results, survey results, and implemented necessary corrective actions for the second semester of the academic year 2024/2025.
