Unit Aims
1. Spreading a culture of quality and raising awareness of the importance of quality in the college community.
2. The unit aims to develop the systems and standards that are consistent with the proposed evaluation methods from the Center for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of the University in order to evaluate the performance
3. The unit aims at cooperating with the scientific departments in the college.
4. Raise the efficiency of faculty members and their assistants in the light of quality standards.
5. Establish mutual relations with quality assurance bodies and organizations at the regional and international levels.
6. Development of leadership and management systems in college.\
Tasks
- Develop the vision and mission of the unit, and Aims, and strategic plan and documentation of the Faculty Council.
- Develop the organizational and administrative structure of the unit and document it from the Faculty Council.
- Establish the mechanisms for establishing an internal quality system at the Faculty, including academic and non-academic
- Setting up mechanisms to activate the internal evaluation of the college for academic and non-academic activities with coordination with the various departments and the need to document them at the Faculty council.
- Support and follow-up of the college administration in the development and dissemination of the Faculty message.
- Follow-up of the academic activities in the college (including the development of standards - description of programs and courses).
- Follow up and review the annual reports of self-evaluation of the Faculty.
- Follow up and develop student assessment systems.
- Training faculty members on the new evaluation methods.
- Develop a mechanism that includes a wider participation of Faculty students.
- Support and follow-up management of the Faculty and various sections in preparation for field visits.
- Follow up the candidacy of the external evaluate for the course according to the approved standards and review the regulations.
