Quality Assurance Unit

 

Consisting of the director of the quality assurance unit, the unit officials, the elite of the faculty members, the supporting staff, the administrators and the students. The program outlines the detailed plan for quality assurance and internal discipline standards, as well as the review of reports, the department records and the initiative to solve problems and arrange their priorities. Based on the evaluation process to ensure the success of the plan and accordingly the Committee to submit periodic reports and recommendations to the Governing Council, and this committee is represented by all the scientific and administrative departments of the Faculty.

 

Executive committee:

It consists of six members of the Faculty, which implements the plan and the activities necessary for its success and preparation of the various reports. The Dean of the Faculty appoints a Chairman of the Committee from among the faculty members to carry out the tasks of the Committee.

 

Functions of the Committee:

  • Planning and coordinating the activities of the educational quality assurance program.
  • Supporting the activities of the Quality Assurance Committee and making recommendations as a source of information.
  • Monitoring the quality assurance studies and periodic evaluation of the program to ensure that it achieves the goals.
    • Record and document quality assurance and reporting activities.

     

    Specializations of the Committees of the Quality Assurance Unit at the Faculty:

     

    1- Committee to prepare a description and report on the educational program and courses:

    Functions of the Committee:

  • Technical support for all departments during the preparation and development of characterization of courses
  • Follow-up of the amendments to all related to the internal regulations of the Faculty.
  • Follow up the amendment and development of the internal regulations of the Faculty to achieve the basic requirements to face the labor market locally and internationally.
  • Follow up on the preparation of a report on the course and courses.
  • Preparation of a model for the description of the course.
  • Holding training workshops on the preparation and characterization of the course in the presence of faculty members
      • Follow up the preparation of a database of resources and resources of the Faculty.
      • Preparation of a mechanism to explain how to connect services to the community in the field of physical education.
      • Highly qualified both inside and outside the Faculty in the field of specialization.

         

        2-Student Examination Committee:

        Functions of the Committee:

      • Holding workshops on quality standards for the design of examinations.
      • Monitoring and evaluating the examination process.
      • Follow-up of the work movement in the correction committees (Controls) and ensure the work in accordance with quality standards.
      • Making test models to keep pace with the new modifications.

         

        3-Faculty Development Committee:

        Functions of the Committee:

      • Holding workshops for faculty members regarding quality.
      • Follow-up performance of faculty members.
      • The Committee shall establish a file for each member of the faculty indicating the specialization of each member and his scientific, community and research activities.
      • Prepare a database for faculty members and faculty assistants in which activities are identified within the Faculty.

         

        4-Student Affairs Committee:

        Functions of the Committee:

      • Follow-up and evaluation of student support policies in all (academic, social)
      • Follow up the efficiency and quality of student affairs services.
      • Follow-up activating the role of students by their participation in the implementation of the work of all the quality committees.

         

        5- Scientific Research Committee:

        Functions of the Committee:

      • Preparation of guidelines for the work of scientific research.
      • Establishing a committee of ethics of scientific research.
      • Follow-up amendments to the regulations on postgraduate studies according to the requirements of the labor market.
      • Holding scientific research workshops and publishing methods in international and international journals.
      • Follow-up monitoring the application of scientific research and delivery of services to the community.
      • Develop a mechanism that provides a basis for all scientific research and how to write it.

        6-Committee of sources of education and teaching methods:

        Functions of the Committee:

      • Monitoring the efficiency and quality of teaching as well as the learning environment and social activities.
      • Workshops and courses for faculty members to ensure the quality of teaching and learning.
      • Follow up the sources of education in Faculty in accordance with the requirements of quality.
      • Follow up the preparation, documentation and approval of the research plan of the Faculty.

       

      7- Committee on Social Services:

      Functions of the Committee:

    • Prepare an annual schedule of social activities within the Faculty.
    • Coordinating the activities of different students.
    • Monitoring these activities and linking them to the quality of education.
    • Develop a plan to hold seminars for the departments in light of the stages of time in the academic year and the use of theory and practice.
    • Monitoring the social activities associated with the faculty in the community and the outside community

     

    8-Committee graduates:

    Functions of the Committee:

  • Establishment of a special office for follow-up graduates.
  • Monitoring and follow-up performance of the Office and good follow-up graduates.
  •  Identify the difficulties that meet graduates of physical education and how to overcome them through the reality of the student.

 

9- Working Committee Annual Report:

Functions of the Committee:

 

  • Follow up the preparation of an annual report of the Faculty.
  • Preparation of means of data collection, sources and analysis.
  • Prepare a mechanism to determine the needs of the Faculty for the next plan.
  • Evaluation of the work of the committees that have been implemented through the preparation of reports submitted by the committees.
  • Evaluation of the administrative work of each department of the Faculty through the preparation of periodic reports.
