The Science, Technology and Innovation Funding Authority (STDF), in collaboration with the Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) in Spain, announces the opening of the call for applications for the 11th Egyptian-Spanish Technological Cooperation Program.
This program aims to bridge scientific research with industry, encourage Egyptian researchers to industrially apply their research outcomes to solve industrial challenges, and enhance technological cooperation between both parties in technological development, innovation, and technology transfer projects. It also seeks to boost competitiveness across various fields, including: Agriculture, Water Resources Management, Health, Construction, Renewable Energy, Environment, as well as Strategic Industries, Transportation, Tourism, and Antiquities.
📌 Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree and be affiliated with an Egyptian research institution, in collaboration with an Egyptian industrial partner (industrial companies and entities) and a Spanish industrial partner.
Accepted projects will receive funding of up to €150,000 for the Egyptian side.
Deadline for receiving research proposals: December 3, 2026.
